Welcome to Kids Ministry at One Life. We know children face many challenges, and our desire is to help each child understand that God is with them every step of the way. Through each lesson and experience, we help kids learn who God is, understand His character and promises, and discover His love and purpose for their lives.
Our teachers, helpers, and curriculum work together to create fun, meaningful learning experiences for every child. Each classroom is designed to fit a child’s age and stage of development and serves children from nursery through 5th grade.
Check-in is simple and secure. After completing a registration form at our Kids Welcome Center, parents can check in their children each week at one of our kiosks and receive a name badge that includes important information for our Kids Ministry team, such as allergy details and approved pick-up contacts.
Our Kids Ministry team loves children and their families and wants every visit to One Life to be a great experience. Our regular volunteer team includes approximately 25 adults and teens, and that number grows to more than 50 volunteers during Vacation Bible School and community events. We are honored to serve you and your family.
When you arrive, one of our greeters will warmly welcome you and help you find the Kids Welcome Center in the north wing of the church. To help us care for your child well, we will ask you to complete a brief registration form with your contact information, your child’s details such as age, grade, and allergies, and the names of those authorized for pick-up.
Your child’s safety is very important to us. We work to provide a secure environment through a staffed security team, security cameras, and a check-in/check-out process that supports safe, smooth drop-off and pick-up. Every children’s ministry worker is required to complete a current background check. We also plan to have at least two approved workers in each classroom to provide strong supervision and care.
Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles.
